Why do I need a Warranty? »
There are many reasons to purchase an AWN Warranty. The risk of mechanical breakdown is completely random no matter your vehicles age or kilometres travelled. Your motor vehicle has literally thousands of moving parts combined with the latest in computer technology. With an AWN Warranty, you can protect yourself against expensive mechanical repairs.
With the complexity of today's motor vehicles, one medium-size repair could costs more than the purchase price of your warranty.
AWN has a wide variety of warranty products available to suit your coverage requirements and budget, prior to purchasing a warranty from one of our agents please insure you read and understand the Product Disclosure Statement. A (PDS) contains all the information you require to make an informed decision whether the warranty you are considering is the right warranty product for you.
Can I purchase an AWN Warranty from you? »
AWN’s warranty products are only available to be purchased through our 3000 selected licensed and authorised agents; motor dealerships, marine dealerships, motorbike dealerships, finance brokers etc. throughout Australia.
Most replicable dealerships currently use our warranty products, if you find a dealership does not offer our warranties please have the dealership contact us so we can liaise with them to make our warranty products available to you.

How much are your warranties? »
AWN has a wide variety of warranty products available to suit your coverage requirements and budget. In regard to pricing, a number of factors are taken into account in determining the Warranty price. These include the type of warranty selected, the type of vehicle, the age of the vehicle and kilometres travelled, the vehicle’s history in relation to servicing, where the vehicle is driven and any modifications to the vehicle.
AWN’s warranty products are only available to be purchased through our 3000 selected licensed and authorised agents; motor dealerships, marine dealerships, motorbike dealerships, caravan dealerships, finance brokers etc. throughout Australia. The warranty retail price is limited to the Financial Services Guide (FSG) rate. Most agents retail our warranty products well under the set FSG rate.

Do all motor vehicles qualify for an AWN Warranty? »
AWN has a quality licenced warranty product option to suit your coverage requirements and budget, allowing you to choose the level of protection that best protects you against costly mechanical repairs. The Motor Dealer I am looking to buy a motor vehicle from does not offer AWN Warranty? »
Have the Motor Dealer contact our office. Providing they qualify with our criteria, we can liaise with the dealership to make our warranty product range available to you.

CLAIMS
How do I make a claim? »
- 1) Read the Warranty carefully to ensure Your claim is covered by the Warranty.

Office Hours: Monday to Friday 8:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. (AEST) - 3) Quote the Warranty Number, registration number and current odometer reading.
- 4) Explain fully the nature of the problem remembering that You are required to disclose to Us all information which is relevant in assisting Us to consider Your claim. If You fail to disclose such information Your rights to claim may be seriously affected.
- 5) Upon receipt of the above information We will process and consider Your claim. Repairs will not be paid by Us unless an authorisation number is issued by Us to the Repairer prior to the commencement of the repairs.
In some cases You will be given the opportunity to contribute something towards the cost of the repairs, i.e. any repairs that restore the Motor Vehicle to a better condition than the condition prior to the failure.
Failure by You to pay for any work not included in this claim shall render this Warranty void.
In the event of a Mobile Mechanic being called by Us, You agree that any work carried out by that or any mechanic that is not part of the cover or if the call is of a service nature then this cost shall be Your responsibility.
If You have a problem with Your Motor Vehicle that is not claim related, just call AWN’s claims department and We can still assist You through our network of Approved Repairers Australia-Wide.
Where are your approved repairers in my area? »
To insure the best possible service our approve repairer network is continually being updated; we review each repairer on a regular basis for quality of workmanship, pricing and customer satisfaction. As such an approved repairer today may not be an approved repairer in six months’ time.
If you experience a possible claimable problem with your vehicle please contact us prior to authorising any work, we can take all factors into consideration and direct you in to the appropriate specialist closest to you. i.e. mechanical, electrical, air-conditioning, steering etc.
Do I have to pay the Approved Repairer and wait for reimbursement? »
No, AWN pays the Approved Repairer direct.
Can I claim more than once on my Warranty? »
AWN warranties have generous claim limits allow for a multiple of claims within the Warranty period. Please refer to your Warranty booklet/ document for full coverage, terms, conditions, limitations and exclusions of your specific warranty.
SERVICING
Where can I service my vehicle? »
You can service your motor vehicle at any licensed "A" grade mechanical workshop of your choice.
Why do I have to mail in copies of my service invoices? »
If the unfortunate happens (i.e. A breakdown), our aim is to get you back on the road ASAP. In order to do so, your service history must be up to date. By not sending in your service receipts/coupons, it may delay processing of your claim.
How often do I have to service my motor vehicle? »
Depending upon your motor vehicle's age and/or kilometres travelled, your servicing requirements may vary. In most cases, it will be six (6) months or ten thousand (10,000) kilometres, whichever occurs first. Please refer to your Warranty booklet/ document for full coverage, terms, conditions, limitations and exclusions of your specific warranty.
What do I do when I've used all the Service Slips in my Warranty booklet? »

TRANSFER
Can I transfer my Warranty? »
In most cases yes you can transfer the benefits of your warranty to the new owner of your vehicle providing your warranty is still current.
As a prerequisite to transferring the Warranty we require the following:
- Proof of a current Safety Inspection Report and ownership; and
- A mechanical inspection acceptable to us; and
- You must provide the above and request to transfer the Warranty in writing to Us within 7 days of the change of ownership of the Vehicle; and
- A transfer and administration Fee of $75.00 payable by the new owner.
If successful, a confirmation of approved transfer will be mailed within 14 days of receipt of request.
Advertising your motor vehicle with a Warranty adds value, an advantage over other private-to-private sellers. For full Terms and Conditions, refer to your Warranty Contract.
CANCELLATION
Can I cancel my Warranty? »
None of the terms and conditions of the Warranty can be cancelled. Refunds are only paid to an interested Finance Company in possession of default and repossession papers. The refund calculation will be less Our cancellation/ administration costs and any authorized or paid claims.

I need a replacement warranty book/ document? »
To request a replacement warranty book/document, simply put your request in writing along with the ($33.00 book/document replacement fee) and mail to:
